146 million euros. This is the value of the workforce in Saint-Etienne, according to a study by the International Center for the Study of Sport (CIES) published earlier this week. To make this estimate, CIES calculates the sum of the twenty highest values of players, themselves valued according to different criteria, individual (age, performance, duration of the contract, career progression, international status), but not only (sporting levels and economic club, inflation on the transfer market).
