“It was not an easy decision, but it was not my decision. From the moment I couldn’t play anymore, I couldn’t see myself staying in Saint-Etienne just to take my check at the end of the month. It’s not my idea of football. And I like to play. I am unhappy when I am deprived of ground. It was better for everyone ”, said the former Greens striker.
Before talking about a return: “When I have time, I will come back with great pleasure. I spent four and a half years in Saint-Etienne. This is the club where I have spent the most time in my career. And I have friends there: Jessy Moulin, Loïc Perrin, Romain Hamouma. They were already there when I arrived. Four and a half years together, it creates bonds. ”
