The Greens fought until the end and were rewarded. Pascal Dupraz’s players overthrew Montpellier, Saturday, in the 23rd day, to snatch a capital victory (3-1).
The visitors had quickly opened the scoring by Elye WAhi (11th) but did nothing afterwards and the Saint-Etienne substitutes Romain Hamouma (82nd) then Arnaud Nordin (90th) scored, the latter also allowed Wahbi Khazri to shake the nets (90th + 3). Thanks to this success, the second in a row in the league, ASSE, now 19th, leaves the last place to Lorient.
