The Magic Fans gathered several dozen of their members to once again chant slogans calling for the resignation of the leaders of ASSE. This Saturday, January 15, they unrolled a banner that they wanted visible to the players and the management from the bus that took everyone to the Cauldron for the reception of Lens, on which they could read “Players, staff, the ball is in your feet to save you“.
Clowns out!
The demonstrators wore masks with the faces of Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caiazzo made up as clowns to also sing: “You are clowns… Out the clowns“. Masks which necessarily make one think of protection against Covid-19 and remind us that the 5,000 spectator gauge applies to ASSE matches.
“Such measures are incompatible with our way of living our passion (…). Until further notice, we will not be present at the stadium”, wrote the group of ultra supporters on December 29. (…) We will not, however, give up the fight we have been undertaking for several months: to save the ‘ASSE! Whether it’s pushing the Greens to victory or cleaning up behind the scenes, our role is essential“.
