The 34-year-old French international midfielder is free of any contract. Blaise Matuidi no longer appears in the roster of Inter Miami, the team of David Beckham. After a season with Miami in MLS, Matuidi decided to pack up. The French international with 84 selections is therefore free to commit where he wishes. The trend seems to be heading towards a return to Europe for the former PSG and Juventus player.
The midfielder was five-time French champion with PSG and three-time Italian champion with Juventus. It would be a major reinforcement for the club which will retain its services. Matudi left a good feeling in all the clubs where he played. PSG, Juventus, AS Saint-Etienne, but also Troyes to name a few, the critics are dithyrambic for the native of Toulouse. So is a return to one of his former clubs possible?
Two former clubs need him
A return of Blaise Matuidi to Juventus or PSG seems unlikely. Nevertheless, regarding the ASSE and theESTAC, the probability is higher. Especially since these are two clubs in difficulty, which would need a reinforcement of weight. Indeed, Blaise Matuidi is still this medium with an extraordinary volume of play. On the one hand, Saint-Etienne, red lantern, is doing everything to achieve the feat, during this winter transfer window. The Greens have recorded the arrival of several players supposed to help them create the feat. The arrival of Matuidi would conclude this strategy of reconquest.
On the other side, there is the Matuidi training club, ESTAC. At the beginning of January, a rumor reported an interest from Troyes in the world champion2018. However, the question of the salary granted to the five-time champion of France posed a problem. The player could make a considerable effort to find the club that introduced him to the professional world.
