AS Saint-Etienne : ASSE: Dupraz gives up on this rookie… | ASSE News

Like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, Marcel Tisserand will not return to Ligue 1 this winter.

Passing through a press conference this Tuesday, while AS Saint-Étienne will go to Angers tomorrow (7 p.m.) for a late match of the 20th day of Ligue 1, Pascal Dupraz took the opportunity to take stock of the transfer window of Greens. With already 5 recruits to its credit – Gnagnon, Sako, Thioub, Bernardoni and Mangala – the Forez club has strengthened its position but the coach expects at least two new faces before the end of January.

“We still have a week left. We intend to take at least one striker and one defender.”, Dupraz warned the media. But the defender in question will not be the former Toulousain Marcel Tisserand, a time announced on the shelves of ASSE. “Marcel is no. I think Marcel would have liked to give us a hand, but no. Fenerbahçe don’t want to let him go”, regrets the Stéphane coach.
