Almost two weeks after returning to training, ASSE were held in check (2-2) by Le Puy Foot 43 (N2) on Saturday for the first of their seven warm-up matches this summer. As expected, Claude Puel has concocted two totally different eleven for each period. In first, the Greens, organized in 4-3-3, have the best opportunities.
Bouanga (7th), after a good pressing from Lhéry, then Lhéry (40th), well served by Tormin who has just replaced the twirling Abdoulaye Sidibé (40th), injured, stumble on Michelizzi.
Gabriel Silva in legs, Mason back
The Gabonese international of the Greens also saw his head narrowly flee the frame on a corner from Rivera (34 ‘) while the good cross from Gabriel Silva, very sharp and author of forty-five very encouraging minutes, found no one. Next week, ASSE will play two friendlies: against Bourg-Péronnas (N) at L’Étrat, Friday, and the next day, Saturday, against Grenoble (L2) at Andrézieux-Bouthéon.
