I have nothing against Ramirez but I don’t think that, when you want to be helped in Ligue 1, you recruit a player in Uruguay on the sole basis of data software. Ultimately, I would have preferred that Saint-Etienne positioned itself on a player like Gaëtan Charbonnier, who left Brest to sign for Auxerre in Ligue 2. A guy who knows French football like at the time of Nicolas Fauvergue, Nicolas Goussé … Sometimes, it is better to bet on safe values with 20 goals in Ligue 2 but which could still serve and make their matches seriously in the elite. Ignacio Ramirez, it was a huge bet and for the moment, it seems above all too risky to see missed. Now there are still a lot of games and Ramirez can still make us lie … “
