The new executive chairman of AS Saint-Etienne, Jean-François Soucasse, had warned: the transfer window could be “sluggish” on the side of ASSE. So far, the Forez club have not signed any reinforcements apart from the contract extension of Romain Hamouma. A situation identical to that of the reigning French champion, the LOSC.
Big shots in sight, or still waiting for departures … Claude Puel and Jocelyn Gourvennec will have to redouble their efforts to properly integrate future recruits into their workforce given the time remaining before the start of the 2021 season- 2022.
