We won’t see Lois Diony in Ligue 1 this season. The former striker ASSE left Angers SCO and signed with theBelgrade Red Star in Serbia, in order to relaunch his failed career.
ASSE: Lois Diony tries to go abroad
A season after leaving ASSE to join Angers SCO, Lois Diony left Ligue 1. He was loaned by SCO to theBelgrade Red Star. The Serbian club have formalized the signing of the French center-forward. This is on a one-season loan with the possibility of transfer. “Lois Diony is a new player for the Red Star! The 28-year-old French center-forward arrives on loan with an option to buy ”, the club said via its Twitter account, with supporting photos.
Struggling in the championship since his transfer from Dijon FCO to AS Saint-Étienne in July 2017, Loïs Diony joined an exotic championship in an attempt to revive. It must be said that Red Star Belgrade is the most successful club in Serbia. As for Angers SCO, he must bring in some money during this summer transfer window to balance his books.
