While it was regularly announced on the departure during the last summer transfer window, and in particular in the viewfinder of English clubs, the Rennais Stadium and LOSC, Denis Bouanga finally stayed at theAS Saint-Etienne.
In view of its season which is like that of theASSE, one wonders if the 26-year-old winger was right to stay with the Greens. Author of 5 goals and 3 assists, Denis Bouanga is in much more difficulty during this 2020-21 financial year.
Aware of being less decisive than last season, the former Olympic Nimes wanted to qualify this at a press conference. Indeed, Denis Bouanga entrusted much more work for the collective.
“I know that I am less efficient, but I work for the collective. I also play in different positions, I am aware of my performances. If I had confidence in myself, and that I had set the goals that I Missing that would have done me good and the collective. I know it’s a less good season, we are learning, but I’m there for the collective even when I am less efficient. (…) I read criticism on the networks. It’s part of football, I learn and I continue. It touches me but it also motivates me, I want to prove that I can be more efficient “ said Bouanga.
