Foot – Mercato – ASSE
Today in Brest, Franck Honorat does not regret having left ASSE during the last summer transfer window.
Claude Puel took advantage of the last summer transfer window to considerably rejuvenate its workforce, but also to carry out a major downsizing in particular in order to replenish its coffers. TheASSE thus separated from many players like Vagner Dias, of Yann M’Vila, of Lois Diony, but also of Franck Honorat. Now 24, the right winger has decided to leave the Forez club and join Brest for a transfer estimated at 5M €. Honorat reconsidered this decision and absolutely does not regret his choice.
“Since the departure of Jean-Louis Gasset, things have gone a little peanut”
” Internally and at football level I was no longer happy, I no longer had fun. I knew that I was going to have less playing time, that it would be more complicated for me, and given the turn things were taking in Saint-Etienne… We have seen it for two years with these changes of coach, since the departure of Jean-Louis Gasset, it started a little peanut. Personally I think I made the right choice. Here I am fulfilled, I am happy. I’m having the best season of my career yet. I score, I do dice passes, I enjoy training, it’s family-friendly, it’s warm. Everything is in place for me to continue to thrive, and to keep up the momentum. If I had stayed at Saint-Etienne, I don’t think I would have had a season like this in Brest “ said Franck Honorat in an interview with Eleven World.
