The Saint-Étienne municipal council has validated a series of proposals concerning public tributes at various places in the city of Saint-Étienne. After Robert Herbin, another great ASSE coach will give his name to a space near the Henri Lux Stadium.
While a Robert Herbin esplanade will emerge near the Musée des Verts, near Geoffroy-Guichard, another great club coach will be honored. This is’Albert Batteux coach of the club between 1967 and 1972. He won two Coupe de France and three D1s, achieving twice the cup-championship double.
The municipal council of @Saint Etienne_ validated the proposals of the public tributes commission that I chair.
