The diocese of Saint-Étienne announces the holding of a mass “for peace and in communion with all the Catholics of the diocese of Nice” will take place this Thursday evening.

This Thursday morning, October 29, a knife attack in Nice, in the Basilica of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption, left 3 dead. Emmanuel Macron called the attack an “Islamic terrorist attack”. Since then, local and international reactions have followed one another on social networks.

After having broadcast the message of the Conference of Bishops of France, the Bishop of Saint-Etienne, Mgr Bataille, will preside this Thursday at 6.30 p.m. a mass “for Peace and in communion with the Catholics of the diocese of Nice” at Saint Cathedral -Charles de Saint-Etienne.
