It’s no secret that theAS Saint-Etienne must downsize its workforce during the transfer window summer in order to breathe financially, and especially to bring new blood after a catastrophic last season. A degreasing that takes time to materialize, since theASSE currently only two paid departures, in this case Vagner Dias (FC Metz) and Franck Honorat (Brest), as well as players at the end of their contract, namely Yohan Cabaye and Loïc Perrin. Departures which have certainly reduced the payroll, but clearly not enough to allow Claude Puel to make some alterations.
