TheASSE do not close the door to departures this summer. In case of interesting offers for the club and for the solicited players, theAS Saint-Etienne will not hesitate for transfers. This is what justified the departure of Franck Honorat and Vagner Dias Gonçalves. The first was transferred to Stade Brestois against a check for € 5 million and the second to FC Metz for € 3 million, if we believe Progress. Claude Puel therefore managed to get € 8 million back into the ASSE coffers on these two transfers. This is a significant amount, given the health and economic crisis created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Well listed on the transfer market right now, Denis Bouanga and Wesley Fofana, two of Claude Puel’s key players, could bring big returns to the Loire club. Green leaders have already set the bar for their Gabonese striker courted by the Betis Seville, Everton and Stade Rennais. They decided to open negotiations for Bouanga from at least € 15 million. Wesley Fofana is also in great demand. AS Monaco, AC Milan, Everton and Leicester City are interested in his services.
