AS Saint-Etienne : Cups: 5,000 spectators only for the two PSG finals (official) | ASSE News

As expected, the two cup finals (PSG / OL and PSG / Saint-Etienne) in which PSG will participate will be played with a maximum of 5000 spectators. The judge of summary procedures of the Council of State has just announced it, officially, this Monday.

As the health situation has not changed favorably, the limit of 5,000 spectators in the stadiums is now official. This decision follows the ban on gatherings of more than 5,000 people, dating from the decree of May 31, which the Council of State did not find advisable to depart from. The final of the French Cup disputed on July 24 between PSG and AS Saint-Etienne as well as the final of the League Cup opposing PSG to OL and scheduled for July 31 will therefore be disputed with an audience restricted.

If we now know that the first two official French games since the confinement will not be played behind closed doors but with a reduced audience, still no information on the availability of places and under what practical arrangements is available. A quota of 1000 places per club was mentioned by the press but neither the FFF for PSG / ASSE nor the LFP for PSG / OL communicated on this subject, any more than on the date of the sale.

Parisian supporters will therefore have to be patient to know under what exact conditions they can go and support their team while the Collectif Ultras Paris should boycott the two meetings.
