But the problems go beyond the field at Saint-Etienne, as the evil seems deep within the club. In recent weeks, sports director David Wantier has left, completely shaking up the organization of the club, still headed by two presidents, namely Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caïazzo. A management with two heads which does not function any more and whose Romain Molina listed the many disadvantages in a video published on YouTube. For the journalist, it is obvious that Saint-Etienne is the laughing stock of Europe with its leadership with two heads, and that this cannot continue thus for the good of the club.
